I will be recreating a video similar to this one I did a quick edit for to show my point. I did not film the dancer, but created the effects. I will be filming a dancer.
Will be filmed in NE Ohio during December
There are a few options for this which will be discussed with candidates.
Option 1: Routine recreated with different outfits giving support to yourself.
Option 2: One flow session that is duplicated.
Option 3: LMK your ideas
Option 4: Several dancers being plugged into the matrix.
When the party stops and the rage subsides, the mind may be lost, but the leader must prevail.
I found this photo on The Chive about two weeks ago and liked the look of it (I'm kind of still into the ninja turtles). So i downloaded it and set it as my lock screen of my tablet, but it was only moments ago when I discovered the true meaning of this picture, and why I am supposed to have it.
At various points in my life, I have identified with each of the four ninja turtles based on personality traits, which I will describe below.
Michelangelo, for those who don't know, is the orange dressed turtle rockin' nun-chucks and is considered to be the laid back, party turtle. His timely jokes help to lighten the mood throughout the movies, comics, and video games.
Raphael wears red, uses sai as weapons, and gets pissed off a lot. He separates himself from the group more frequently than the others and let's his anger fuel his passion.
Donatello is the "nerd" of the team and is able to solve computer problems and literature references. He has quick witted comebacks, but sometimes struggles to let loose and relax.
Leonardo who is depicted in the beginning, is the leadership personality of the team. He helps to group them together to regain strength and looks over injured teammates. His leadership skills are what help the turtles to overcome many of their obstacles.
Take a moment to watch the trailer for the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's kind of a false preview because every voice sounds different than how it does in the movie. Believe me, I didn't just misremember from a kid (I watch the movie a lot)
Now let us reflect on the initial quote. "When the party stops and the rage subsides, the mind may be lost, but the leader must prevail."
There are so many qualities that go into leadership. Not saying those qualities aren't a sense of humor and love for party, a loose trigger, or large amounts of knowledge. Leadership has to do with balancing these personality traits with the ability to bring people together, and to motivate them to see their greatness.
Their Master Splinter has the wisdom to turn the strengths and weaknesses of each individual turtle into a well oiled machine. He assigns their roles and helps them to be comfortable in their own color. Let us learn from Splinter and Leonardo in our own leadership roles.
When life gets you down, remember it is the jokes, the muscle, the knowledge that powers through it. It's the downright dedication to pick yourself up and get going.
Thanks and have a Happy Today,
So it's that time of year again. It's time for deer chili, camouflage, and weekend hunting trips with the guys, or girls if your into that kind of thing. More importantly though, it's the time of year for self reflection, I mean New Years is less than two months away and resolutions don't just come up with themselves. Since I come from a world where hunting, life, and jokes are all taken very seriously I feel that the logical second installment of the future World Encyclopedia (my blog) should be Ten Life Lessons Taught By Hunting.
So, thanks for taking the time to read this post, or at least scroll to the bottom of the page, and remember to live everyday like it's a holiday, and every holiday like it's your last. #HappyToday
